Kath with Poet and EDP friend Pippa Little Thanks for having dinner with us Pippa and Bob 🙂
DURHAM Cathedral and Castle — Jim’s first sighting of the cathedral? ‘Holy Crap!’ I think he was impressed…
we walked and walked and walked! and took some photos of sheeps 🙂
On the way back we had lunch at Seahouses and then on to Craster — the walk to Dunstanburgh Castle which we didn’t have time to complete but we did manage to visit the smoke houses, and then back via Warkworth.
NEWCASTLE upon TYNE
Baltic, Sage, Morden Tower and Blackfriars. Later we had supper at the Tyneside Cinema Cafe and enjoyed Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake at The Theatre Royal. Jim and Kath spent another day exploring Newcastle on their own 🙂
