January: Tomorrow is the Wolf moon. I think I’ll shave my beard 😉 just in case… The 31st is Chinese New Year — the Year of the Horse. I was born in the Year of the Horse in the Clouds. Of course… Chinese years have a 12 year cycle. horse February: We are going to meet up with an old friend and his new lady. Of course there’s Valentine’s excuse for dessert and wine. But I love February — it’s a great wee month and light til five and getting lighter all the time. The 10th Umbrella Day… of which more anon but as friend just pointed out: 1604665_646880615373420_594126672_n March: St David’s Day, Pancake Day, St Patrick’s Day, hopefully daffodils and I hope  I will have some jobs done by then. My mother would have been 100 this month. April: I am really looking forward to my firends Kath and Jim visiting us around Eastertime. That’s going to be great! May: What’s not to like?  I like May because of tulips and irises. Maybe my sister will come for her birthday. Last year she visited in June: I am never sure about June. On the one hand we have our lightest nights, our longest days… but I laways feel cheated if the weather doesn’t do its bit.
