This is Brian Laing whom I have known internet-wise for 5 years but we’d never met. Brian as you will see in this video clip is Canada’s best doggone vet! All you dog owners watch THIS
Brian and his gorgeous wife Christine, insisted on treating us to a night at Niagara Falls so Amy and the family dropped us off at our hotel after our day on Maid of the Mist! Christine came up and asked — Oonah? Within minutes we were at home with these two lovely people — as if we’d known them for years. In fact we later remarked how much it was like being with old friends.
Now, on this holiday there were a few things, as I have said, that I would not have volunteered for but I am glad happened. Brian had very kindly booked a table at the Skylon Tower revolving restaurant. So having seen the falls from beneath I was now to see the falls whilst dining from 775ft above – and I don’t like heights! I confessed as much – had to. The only way I was going up in that yellow bug thingy on the outside of a tower was if I had two tall men blocking my view. It takes 52 seconds to make the ascent. Well… I did it!
And thanks Brian — what a good doctor you are. I’m not half as frightened now as I was. Still didn’t venture up the CN Tower mind you but that’s a giraffe of a different colour!
Having got up to the restaurant which slowly revolves so the view constantly changes as you dine, we had a wonderful meal — great food and excellent service! And we were treated to the most spectacular sunset — I don’t know whether Brian had a hand in booking that but here are some views I hope you enjoy.
What did I tell you!

By this time I was quite comfortable with being at that height and so I ventured out briefly onto the observation platform just long enough to take this photo to prove to myself I did it
and was rewarded with rainbow coloured falls — quite a sight. Afterwards we webt to the 4D Movie a fun end to a perfect evening.
