If you like good food and ale. If you like fish. If you like Sea Shanty, Hornpipes, sing-a-long, foot-tapping, hand-clapping good all round FUN. Then why not come to

The Mason’s Arms, Warkworth, Northumberland

where the first Thursday of every month is SEA SHANTY NIGHT. Take a stroll first by the river or visit the hermitage or the castle to work up an appetitie for the wonderful range of fish dishes on offer, lobster, crab, sea bass, salmon, monk fish and more. Then try of the wonderful desserts on offer including Morwick Icecreams made from the milk of a diary herd fed on lush green grasses just two miles from the pub!
The friendly staff of this this lovely pub will give you a fine welcome but it’s best to book a table in advance. Then when you’ve eaten your fill, stay and join in the singing. It’s not the same group every month but it’s the same ambience.
Oh this occasion it was the excellent who gave us at least twenty songs and instrumentals, (including Lillibulero and The Trumpet Hornpipe we all know as Captain Pugwash) rousing choruses and a smattering of ribaldry to do the heart food 🙂 and here are John and Joy doing their thing and do they do it well!

If you want to hire them for a gig, you have their number!
