Ever since I was a child I wanted to grow herbs. I don’t know why that was… Anyway – It was time I thought to harvest my oregano before it goes into flower – so I did. Rather a good harvest I thought and so
well I was baking bread anyway!
It grows like a weed and it dries easily. I think I have enough to see me through next winter here but I’ll probably get another harvest before autumn.
Yip there’s a lot of pizza in that garden.
Ah, one of my favorite herbs! I’m growing cilantro, basil, chives, and peppers this year. The last two years, I’ve had bunches of basil hanging in the laundry room to dry; the smell was amazing.
I’ll bet you make spectacular pizza, Oonah.
Don’t know if they’re spectacular but certainly very edible 😉
Oh lovely! I’m growing coriander and basil! I should dry the basil now to be honest!
Thanks for commenting on my poem on Pygmy Giant!

Basil keeps its flavour better if frozen, not dried.
